We are looking for a "Senior Purchasing Specialist" for one of our multinational clients which is one of the leading companies in its sector.

 

- Ensure business objectives and priorities of the related departments are understood. Suggest and execute commercial strategy, business models, actions accordingly - Manage tendering process in line with company’s commercial principles and Code of Ethical Purchasing; undertake local and foreign Purchasing operation
- Search alternative product and supplier information actively. Support project stakeholders with supplier selection, definition of the appropriate commercial framework, and sourcing approach.
- Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers
- Approve purchase requisitions against project specifications and existing contractual agreements
- Track order status and manage claims.
- Initiate cost reduction activities
- Coordinate and control the annual budget of the IT division and give constructive input to all stakeholders
- Provide support on Budget preparation
- Provide input to Finance Function and Global reports

- University degree, preferablly in business or IT related dicipline
- Minimum 4 years of experience in IT / Technology purchasing and contract management
- Very good command of English
- Very good communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a multi cultural environment
