• Create databases, implementing upgrades and security patches
• Administer and give support for the IT databases on 24*7 basis
• Improve current processes, performance tuning and implementing configurations
• Configure backup and recovery configuration for the databases
• Responsible of administration of databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, etc).
• Ensure that database backups are taken to meet business needs (RPO/RTO)
• Implementing change management processes and user requests on databases
• Implementing security policies on databases
• Design and implement database infrastructure
• Evaluation of new Oracle versions, patches and security patches
• Create and maintain the stand-by databases on Disaster Recovery site
• Prepare contingency plans for the mission-critical databases
• Do capacity planning for underlying infrastructure for databases

• University degree from a relevant discipline
• Good command of English 
• Minimum 2 years of experience for DBA
• Minimum 5 years of experience for Senior DBA
• Experience in management of an operational team giving 24*7 support
• Experience in Oracle 9i and 10g administration
• OCP certification is preferred
• Good SQL and PL/SQL skills
• Basic Unix knowledge and shell scripting
• Male candidates must have completed their military services
